The University of Primorska is a young and vibrant institution able to adapt and actively engage with the environment, which is becoming increasingly open for experimentation and innovation. With its activities it is constantly searching for new cooperation possibilities and functioning in entrepreneurial processes. Through scientific excellence and fantastic location at the Adriatic coast the University of Primorska strives to attract top talent and build a research environment where daring new ideas can survive, mature and materialise to their full potential.

Currently, about six thousand students are enrolled at the University, 20% of which come from abroad. In recent years the university participated in several Erasmus+ programs that specialised in teaching digital skills, focusing on data mining and machine learning techniques. The university actively seeks to teach transversal digital skills and offer hands-on training in order to improve student prospects in this digital age.
